Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming original film Baramulla, featuring Manav Kaul, Bhasha Sumbli, Arista Mehta, and Rohaan Singh in key roles.
Set in Kashmir, the story follows DSP Ridwaan Shafi Sayyid, played by Manav Kaul, who is haunted by his past. As he settles in the valley with his wife and children, strange occurrences begin to disturb the family.
The plot deepens as children in the area start disappearing under mysterious circumstances. The makers describe Baramulla as a film that begins as a mystery thriller but transforms into an emotional and psychological experience by the end.
Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and created by Aditya Dhar, Baramulla is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, with Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar backing the project. Dhar, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike, also contributed to the story and script while gearing up for his next directorial, Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh.
Baramulla premieres on Netflix on November 7. Viewers now await to see whether this supernatural thriller can authentically capture the haunting beauty of Kashmir while delivering a gripping horror experience.
