Bigg Boss Kannada has hit a major roadblock just days before its premiere. The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has ordered the immediate shutdown of the studio hosting the popular reality show.
Officials directed the production team to stop all operations, stating that the site violates environmental rules. The notice mentioned that the area is being used for multiple purposes without proper permissions.
Authorities inspected the Bidadi site before issuing the order and found untreated wastewater being released outside. They also discovered that the sewerage plant inside had no inflow, and all installed units were lying unused.
The inspection further revealed poor housekeeping and the absence of a proper flowchart near the treatment unit. Reports say similar warnings were issued earlier, but the team failed to respond or take corrective action.
Given the situation, the makers may relocate the set to a new venue. However, if finding a replacement takes longer than planned, the show’s premiere might be delayed. More updates are expected soon as the issue unfolds.
