Prime Video broke the news of panchayats’s return on Twitter this Thursday, and it has been a treat for all the Lauki lovers. Just prior to the announcement of the release date of the much-awaited series, Prime Video went on the internet with a very fun and obscure promotional activity. They made a mini game where the netizens were to remove “Laukis” (bottle gourds) to reveal the date of the return of the panchayat’’s third season.
The fans are genuinely treated to the announcement. The announcement tweet came from a Prime video with the subtext “You moved the laukis; we unlocked your reward!”
The series became a fan favorite with its first season, as we follow the story of Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), who joins a village’s administration as a secretary, which proves itself to be a huge challenge. The series has a number of lovable characters, along with juggling heavy themes like opportunity, the demands of youth, the rural-urban divide, and many more in a comedic way. With the success of the last two seasons, garnering an IMDB score of 8.9, the panchayat is expected to rule the hearts of fans again. Season 3 of the panchayat drops on May 28.
