Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has finally arrived in theatres after a long wait on Friday, February 14. Apart from Vicky, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna playing important roles.
The film has received a positive response from critics and audiences. However, people who are unable to visit theatres are eagerly waiting for its OTT release and they are willing to know about the platform where the film will arrive after its theatrical run.
Reports suggest Netflix has bagged Chhaava’s OTT rights. The film might start streaming in the second week of April.
For now, people can expect to watch Chhaava after 45 or 60 days on an OTT platform, which is the usual estimated time of arrival for a film on any digital medium. Audiences still have to wait for a long time to know the official release date.
Considering that the reports have been positive so far, Chhaava is supposed to take a double-digit opening and the final number will be revealed on Saturday, February 15.
Even if it takes a single-digit opening, the collections will witness a rise over the next two days and the film might remain in theatres for more than a month.
A few people are also calling it one of the best works done so far by Vicky Kaushal and it can be said with conviction that the praise will continue after it arrives on OTT.
Chhaava is produced by Maddock Films which has witnessed success with Munjya and Stree 2 in 2024. It remains to be seen if Chhaava can surpass the collections recorded by these two films.
