However, recent buzz suggests that Indian 3 is now in talks with Netflix for a direct OTT release.
Indian 3 is anticipated to showcase Kamal Haasan in a fresh avatar, set in the pre-Independence era, with actress Kajal Aggarwal reportedly getting more screen time compared to the previous film.

While Indian 2 faced severe backlash and trolling from audiences, the discussions around Indian 3’s potential Netflix release are a topic of hot discussion on social media.
In addition to Indian 3, there’s also speculation regarding another upcoming Tamil film titled The Test, featuring stars like Madhavan, Nayanthara, Meera Jasmine, and Siddharth, which is reportedly also poised for a direct OTT release on Netflix.

Directed by producer S. Sashikanth, The Test revolves around a cricket-themed narrative, with music composed by Shakthishree Gopalan. However, the makers have yet to announce a release date.
