Fans began speculating about the location when actor Dalip Tahil, who is part of the new season, shared a scenic snapshot of Nagaland on his Instagram Story back in September 2024.
The image, taken from his hotel room, showcased lush green hills and a rainbow stretching across the sky. His caption, “Rainbow in my window, beautiful Nagaland. Family Man 3,” hinted at the show’s new setting.

Further fueling the rumours, Shreya Dhanwanthary posted a picture on September 19, 2024, alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi, with a caption referring to Bajpayee as their “number 1 man.”
The second season’s cliffhanger ending suggested that the upcoming season would revolve around the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it appears that the narrative will shift towards Nagaland, giving us a fresh and exciting backdrop.
