SonyLIV has recently revealed the first look of its power packed political drama, ‘Freedom At Midnight’. The drama series has already created a hype for it around the internet and the casting has had the fans talking. Freedom At Midnight is based on the 1975 book of the same name by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre.
The drama series is going to bring unheard stories from the freedom struggle of India and the socio-political situation in India at the time of freedom. It will also feature some key moments in the history that shaped the future path for India and Pakistan.
The series is going to feature Sidhant Gupta as Jawaharlal Nehru, Chirag Vohra as Mahatma Gandhi and Rajendra Chawla as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Nikkhil Advani, the force behind the success of Rocket Boys, will be the showrunner and director of the series.
Freedom At Midnight is going to add a lot of weight to the slate of SonyLIV for the year 2024. It will be exclusively available on the streaming platform. However, no release date has been confirmed for the show till now.
