Following the success of Heeramandi Season 1, makers decided to bring it back for another season. The show additionally contributed to bringing a big number in terms of viewership to Netflix.
Sanjeeda Sheikh, who played one of the leads in the series, has shared an update on Season 2, saying that it will be bigger and the cast members are already prepared for the same.
Speaking in an interview, Sanjeeda stated that the new season will be better, adding that she cannot reveal much about when the filming would exactly begin. This is possibly due to Sanjay’s busy schedule.
The actress mentioned that her life changed a lot after the arrival of Heeramandi. She recalled that she witnessed many actors addressing their experience of working with SLB and she was eagerly waiting for her turn.
Sanjeeda even expressed her happiness considering that Heeramandi has turned out to be one of the top-searched shows and movies of this year on Google Trends.
While a majority of the reviews were positive, there was a section that did not like the show at all. Despite those reactions, Heeramandi turned out to be one of the most successful shows to ever come out on Netflix.
Considering the response to Season 1, Sanjay must ensure to bring a better storyline for the new entry.
It is necessary to add new characters at the same time, which will contribute to bringing better reactions compared to the first season.
Sanjay is currently busy with Love & War and it seems like audiences have to wait for a few more years to watch the new season of Heeramandi. However, it remains to be seen if audiences will remember the show until then and accept it.
