It is rarely the case that we hear an Indian Film being adapted for an English remake. Thus, it feels like a massive win for the train-set Indian action film Kill produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga to be adapted for one. The film has already impressed the Western world at the Toronto International Film Festival where it was a runner-up for the People’s Choice Award: Midnight Madness. Now Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment have planned its English remake which makes the producers and team of ‘Kill’ super proud.
Chad Stahelski’s 87Eleven Entertainment is the production company behind ‘John Wick’ franchise and ‘Highlander’, so the action-packed ‘Kill’ is a suitable choice for them. And it does make Bollywood lovers super excited! Audiences will wait to watch how the story and theme translate across Western culture and their filmmaking style. It is great news for the film as it is yet to hit the box office in India. This will surely increase its fame and collections.
