Prime Video has announced a new thriller drama series titled Storm, produced by Hrithik Roshan. The name is yet to be officially confirmed, but the project marks Hrithik Roshan’s entry into the streaming space as a producer.
The series is being produced under Roshan’s banner HRX Films, a division of FilmKraft Productions, in collaboration with Prime Video.
Directed by Ajitpal Singh, Storm is developed by Singh along with Francois Lunel and Swati Das. The lead cast includes Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad. Production is expected to begin shortly.
Hrithik Roshan, who is currently busy dealing with the disastrous box office performance of his latest film War 2, is stepping into digital content production for the first time. He might be hoping that this OTT project will help him recover from the professional and emotional wounds caused by War 2. From his journey of moving beyond stereotypical roles to exploring serious performances and now producing, Roshan has come a long way in his career.
Speaking about the project, Hrithik said that the series presented an opportunity to explore a new role as a producer in the digital content space.
Just happened to watch #War2 and realized I would have done millions other better things in life than watching this shit pic.twitter.com/hdZ8g7DlUd

#War2 NTR had a far better role than I expected-got a nice arc but to finish that arc the climax gets so lengthy and ends up a boring watch. Already the spy universe has become predictable, fatigue set in and the screenplay of this movie has even more predictable beats.
Its not…
