Some fans believe that Ibrahim Ali Khan, being a Muslim, purposely sabotaged Khushi Kapoor’s career due to Hindu-Muslim differences.

This is Ibrahim’s first film, and people suspect that religious differences are the reason behind his highly poor performance, claiming he intentionally acted badly to make his co-star look worse.
It is shocking to see people turn a poorly made film, which has no indications of religious conflict, into a Hindu-Muslim debate.

Some religious extremists are always looking for opportunities to stir up conflict when, in reality, there is no reason to do so.
Nadaaniyan did not fail because of some Hindu-Muslim propaganda.
It failed due to poor execution, amateur cinematography, weak storytelling and writing, and unprepared actors who need to hone their skills.
It is a rom-com that flopped- nothing more, and certainly not a religious battle.
