Kollywood looks very strong in the month of August, as many biggies and promising small-budget movies were planned to release in August. Starting with Indian 2, Kollywood is back on track with the exciting line-up of movies.
August is loaded with biggies, starting with Thangalaan, starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead and directed by Pa Ranjith. This movie holds lots of expectations, as it was set against the backdrop of a historical period and looks like an international movie. This movie was going to be released on August 15th, and this was officially confirmed by the production house via a release date announcement poster.
Other Than Thangalaan, Karthi’s Meiyazhagan is directed by 96 famed C Prem Kumar. As per the buzz, this movie was planning to be released in the month of August. But the release date wasn’t officially announced by the production house. Bala’s Vanangaan, starring Arun Vijay in the lead, Jayam Ravi’s KadhalikkaNeramillai, Kavin’s Bloody Begger, Aadhi’s Sabdham, and Arulnidhi’s most anticipated sequel, Demonte Colony 2, were planned to release in the month of August.
The coming months are going to be a blast for Tamil cinema audiences, as many biggies were releasing back-to-back with one or two weeks of Gap.
