Audiences are excited for the second season of ‘Squid Game’ and it is going to come out soon. But there is a problem. The episode count of the show has been reduced.
There will be only seven episodes in the second season. And there were nine in the first one. The makers needed to have a bigger number of episodes now, keeping the huge hype in mind.

Lee Jung-jae will be returning as Seong Gi-hun who comes back to the dangerous game and wants to expose the masterminds behind it. But he faces opposition from the new players of Squid Game.
Squid Game’s first season went on to be the most viewed web series all time. And there are all chances of the second season being as big as it or even bigger. Byt audiences had to wait so many years for the sequel and now they are getting only seven episodes.

There is a possibility that the makers could not continue to carry on with the story for more than seven episodes. It will not attract people if the story does not have a solid base. The legacy of Squid Game is huge and the writer and creator should have come back with at least a story that could go on for nine episodes.
It will be difficult to satisfy audiences with only seven episodes this time.
