In a surprising move, Netflix has cancelled Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mohit Raina’s much-awaited action-creature film. The decision has left fans shocked.
The project, tentatively titled Ramree, was set in 1945 and marked a major collaboration between Siddhant Chaturvedi, Mohit Raina, and director Neha Sharma. Ajay Devgn was on board as producer, and the shoot was expected to begin in about six weeks.
However, reports suggest the film has now been shelved due to budget issues. The decision comes as a surprise, as pre-production had been underway for more than a year.
With its scale, cast, and concept, Ramree was seen as a promising Netflix original. The cancellation has disappointed many who were looking forward to seeing Siddhant in another ambitious project after Dhadak 2, which earned him decent reviews.
Fans believe the film could have been a strong addition to his career, but the cancellation has brought all the excitement to an unexpected end.
