Movies based on friendship and long journeys have been a favorite genre in Bollywood, inspiring many. The rewatchability of movies like “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” “Dil Chahta Hai,” and “Karwaan” proves that this genre is here to stay. Popular director Luv Ranjan, known for his “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” series, is set to venture into this genre with a twist.
This time, it’s a group of four friends who embark on a journey with the twist of confessing to a friend’s ex-girlfriend that he is over her. This wild ride to Punjab promises to be a blast.
The movie stars Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh, who gained fame from “Fukrey,” along with Sunny Singh from “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,” and popular Punjabi star Jassie Gill. This Netflix movie will be another addition to the list of journey-based films. Even the recently released “Madgaon Express,” which was also based on friendship, was well received by the audience.
