“Munjya,” a surprise hit at the box office, has created waves and garnered decent reviews, attracting viewers to theaters. It remains unaffected even after the release of “Chandu Champion,” which was a much bigger film compared to “Munjya.” This latest addition to Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe has become a success, proving that Indian viewers still enjoy this intriguing genre. Consequently, Aditya Sarpotdar, the director of “Munjya,” is returning with another horror movie.
The movie, titled “Kakuda,” will feature Sonakshi Sinha, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Saqib Saleem in lead roles. It is said to be another horror film that might send chills down the spine.

“Kakuda” is being produced under RSVP Productions, known for movies like “Uri,” “Sam Bahadur,” and “Kedarnath.” The small snippet reveals little about the plot but suggests that this time the danger targets men, contrary to “Munjya,” where the ghost was searching for his “munni” and haunted the girls of the village.
The release date and other details have not been shared yet, but it is said that the movie will be released directly on OTT. Zee5 will premiere this upcoming horror movie, “Kakuda.” Are you excited about it? Do let us know.
