Pawan Kalyan’s OG OTT Response: Fans Feel Cheated

Pawan Kalyan OG streaming on Netflix

They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, has finally started streaming on Netflix after a massive box office run. However, instead of celebration, fans are expressing disappointment as the much-requested uncut version is still missing.

Since the film’s theatrical release, Power Star fans have urged the makers to release the full, unedited cut on OTT. Several scenes shown in teasers and promos were absent in theaters, and director Sujeeth had admitted that some parts were trimmed during post-production.

Fans hoped that Netflix would offer the complete version, but the streaming platform released only the same theatrical cut. While it includes the “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” song, the deleted sequences remain missing.

Many viewers took to social media to express frustration, saying they expected either an extended version or bonus deleted scenes. Some even noted that including the removed moments could have made the story feel more emotionally complete.

Despite the film’s Rs. 300 crore box office success and the makers’ announcement of an expanded OG franchise with prequels and sequels, fans feel let down by the OTT release. Unless Netflix or the production team releases a director’s cut or the missing scenes online, fan disappointment is unlikely to fade soon.
