Later last week, we had a new Telugu theatrical film in the form of Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin. Now let us have a look at the kind of OTT options that are coming up this week and decide whether any of these deserve a place in the weekend watchlist.
Maa Inti Bangaram
This film Maa inti Bangaram has Samantha in the lead role, and it is one of the few films to have actually been able to bring the family audience to theatres in recent times. It was a substantial success at the ticket counters, and it is now preparing for its debut on Jio Hotstar on July 17.
The Hawk
This comedy oriented TV show has Will Ferrell, who is one of the legendary comedians in Hollywood in the lead role. It revolves around the sport of golf and is expected to deliver a lot of comedy content with Will Ferrell in the central role. It will stream on Netflix from July 16.
Lucky
When a multi-million-dollar heist goes sideways, con artist Lucky is forced to go on the run. Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, Lucky must fight for her life and a way out, the plot reads. This show will be made available for streaming on the ever reliable Apple TV+ from July 15.
These are about all the options that will be premiering on OTT platforms this week as we are largely low on the volume of fresh content coming up.
Strangely enough, we do not have any reliable movie titles either coming up this week as it appears that the entertainment audience are in for a dry run for the next few days.
