Renowned actor Pankaj Jha, who played a pivotal part of Vidhayak ji in the beloved Prime Video series “Panchayat” is seen to make brutal commentary about recent cinema.
In an interview with Digital Commentary, Pankaj Jha is seen making comments about Bollywood movies, according to him “If you see Hindi Cinema right now then out of hundred, fifty five to ninety nine percent of the movies feels like they are being made for people from rehab centres”.
This is a very shocking and disrespectful comment coming from a prominent actor like him. He is not only shaming the movie industry but also shaming the audience.
At his core he is also a part of Bollywood and he has been a part of movies like “Delhi-6”, “Atrangi Re” , “Gulaal” etc.
But, after the humongous success of “Panchayat”, these kinds of remarks are not expected from the actor as he is talking about his own community.
Once you become a public figure and stay in the limelight every action and every statement comes under the audience’s scrutiny.
