Users are complaining that Prime Video is missing one very important feature that other OTT platforms have.
There is no ‘speed’ button on Prime Video and it is a big headache. There is an option to change the speed of the content in all OTT platforms like Netflix, AppleTV and more. There has to be an option to slow down or fasten the movies and shows.

Jio Hotstar too does not have the option. But it is a relatively new platform and will need some time to catch up with the others. But Prime Video is an international OTT giant that must include all the features known for streaming.
There are many long format shows that people want to speed up a bit and there are others that they want to slow down while enjoying. And a speed changing option is indeed a very necessary feature.

People are demanding Prime Video to take some action in this regard soon and come up with a solution. It will improve the user experience a great deal and will be a win-win for both parties because user satisfaction will in turn improve Prime’s position in the OTT market.
