Dhoom Dhaam Beats Pushpa 2 on Netflix

Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi’s film Dhoom Dhaam was released on Netflix last week. The romantic action comedy has recorded heavy viewership despite that it has been receiving mixed reactions from everyone.

However, the new film has still recorded some good viewership numbers on the streaming platform and has witnessed a big rise in the second week. Notably, Dhoom Dhaam grabbed the third position in the list of the top ten non-English movies globally.

Towards the second week, the film’s viewership numbers were revealed to be around 5.8 million compared to 4.1 million, which was recorded in week 1. The current number has also helped the film to reach the second position in the list of the global top ten non-English movies.

The overall viewership number sums up to 9.9 million and is still being watched by a huge section of the audience in more than nine countries.

The best part of this record is that Dhoom Dhaam has taken over the records made by Pushpa 2: The Rule and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 among the most-viewed Indian films on Netflix this year.

Jigra remains below the list with the other spots being taken by Daaku Maharaaj, Kadhalikka Neramillai, Rifle Club, and Lucky Baskhar.

Breaking the record of Pushpa 2’s viewership is undoubtedly a big record. Pushpa 2 was able to receive a good number of views despite that it grossed more than Rs. 1,000 crores at the box office.

One of the primary factors that possibly contributed to its success was the availability of a Reloaded Version on Netflix.

Netflix already has a long list of films in its upcoming lineup, and it remains to be seen if Dhoom Dhaam’s records would be broken by any other film in the upcoming months.
