SonyLIV had one chance of getting ahead of Jio Hotstar in the Indian OTT business and looks like they missed the chance. SonyLIV has disappointed users with their sports streaming.
There was a pre-match segment called ‘Champions Ki Charcha’ for UCL which fans felt was not only unnecessary but took away the time and enjoyment from the actual match.
I didn’t think @SonyLIV could get worse, but then I made the mistake of turning it on before the actual kick off, wanting to see the buildup and analysis. The level of garbage is beyond imagination. ‘Champions की चर्चा’ ♂️ Someone pls take rights of UCL from this miserable app.

The discussion was not at par too and there were not many satisfactory elements that the panel could point out. Fans say there must be an expert team discussing the typical match points and not just waste away so important a time in trivial gossip.
UCL is a huge thing for football fans and it should be streamed smoothly and without any flaws. These mistakes are frustrating fans a lot it will take a toll on SonyLIV’s subscriber count as well in the long run.
#championskicharcha what a mess of a pre-match show this is @SonyLIV?!! Can't we have some actual discussion and analysis instead of this shit in the name of 'casual' youth oriented programming?! The most important games in football are not supposed to be covered like this.

The sports streaming is not going very well in India and SonyLIV must not let its chance go away in vain. There is still a lot of time left and the platform should clear the mess it has created with the pre-match discussions.
