Special Ops season 2 created much excitement to date, however, still at the mercy of the question–when? One of the country’s finest minds behind some exciting thrillers in A Wednesday and Special 26, Neeraj Pandey, had special luck when his Special Ops saw the light in 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.
The show managed to become highly successful as action was at peak, the thinking was sharp enough, and with the help of real-life stories, the author wove magic into the episode.

Pandey then released Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, a prequel that follows the origin of Kay Kay Menon’s character, Himmat Singh, in 2021.
Although it received good reception, it was not the direct sequel that the audience was expecting; hence, it left them hungry for more. Since then, speculations regarding the second season have increased even more.

With Neeraj Pandey preoccupied with his current projects like Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, there is no update on Special Ops Season 2.
And the number of questions fans have been voicing about it is becoming aggressive enough to make it trending on social media, as many are asking for some clarity and to come back to the Disney+ Hotstar platform.

The demand is so strong that clearly the audience is not yet ready to let go. Hotstar and Neeraj Pandey listening will deliver a second season packed with the same intrigue and adrenaline as in the first.
Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure-fans are eagerly waiting.
