The wait for Stree 2 has been quite long, but the recently released teaser shows it was worth it. The movie, which has gained cult status in the horror-comedy genre, stands out amidst the plethora of other horror comedies. It’s a movie that genuinely scares and makes you chuckle at the same time. While other movies like Bhediya and Munjya fail to find the right balance, Stree made a mark with its perfect spooky nature.
Recently, its teaser got released, and it brings back the same eerie background tune. The village of Chanderi, where “O Stree Kal Aana” was changed to “O Stree Raksha Karna,” has a few things going on. Someone is painting those signs on the wall, and Stree is back. This brings Shraddha Kapoor back to the village, and now they must find out about the new case that is unfolding.
The whole teaser carries itself in a serious tone, which feels great as an audience, as we genuinely start feeling the tension. The trailer ends with a humorous callback to the first movie, which is a perfect blend of horror and comedy. Directed by Amar Kaushik, if the movie carries the same tone in the theater, it will genuinely become a great hit.
