OTT fans love to watch a mushy romance with a twist. The two much awaited sequels had promised to give them that but the reviews predict that they have fallen short of expectations.
First in the line is Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli starrer Netflix show Mismatched. The initial 2 seasons of this show were highly relatable amongst the youth as the simple direction felt so true to life.

But fans and critics are observing that breakups and patch ups are becoming too repetitive on the show. The story has certainly lost its grip with season 3, regardless of which fans are loving the chemistry between the leads and the music.
Talking of music, Prime Video’s Bandish Bandits blends music and romance in this competitive yet complex love story. Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhary have a good chemistry.

It is complemented by legendary stars like Naseeruddin Shah, Divya Dutta and Sheeba Chadha. Fans are having problems with the pacing of the show with some irrelevant scenes and music.
Many believe that some side roles like Kunal Roy Kapur are unbearable to watch. Yet the outstanding cinematography, music and classy set designs stand out.

Both the sequels have been mild and if the makers are preparing for another season, they should keep a check on fans’ verdict.
