Amazon MX Player has unveiled the trailer of Vimal Khanna on May 12, 2026. The series is positioned as a gritty survival thriller. It is set to premiere on May 15, drawing attention for its dark tone and intense storytelling.
Sunny Hinduja plays Vimal Khanna, a drifter living under a false identity. He takes up a caretaker job at a wealthy seaside villa to escape a wrongful murder charge. This decision slowly pulls him into a dangerous and unpredictable situation.
The villa belongs to Amrita Dass, played by Isha Talwar. She is portrayed as an elegant yet manipulative heiress. Vimal is assigned to care for her paralyzed husband Nishant, but soon realises that everyone around him has hidden motives.
As the story unfolds, Vimal finds himself trapped in a web of betrayal, deception, and identity fraud. The narrative shows how an ordinary man is pushed into extreme circumstances. His struggle for survival becomes more intense with every passing moment.
The series also explores how Vimal’s fight for innocence turns into a battle against a system that appears determined to break him. Chase sequences show him running from the police while his choices lead to deeper complications.
The recurring question, “Vimal Khanna bachega ya marega?”, adds to the suspense. It captures the core tension of the story. The trailer highlights shifting loyalties and rising paranoia as key elements of the narrative.
Adapted from Surender Mohan Pathak’s The Vimal Series novels, the show is directed by Saket Chaudhary and Abhinav Pareek. It is produced by NMKH Productions and aims to bring Indian pulp fiction to a wider OTT audience.
Sunny Hinduja describes Vimal as a character driven by internal conflict. He is not a conventional hero but someone struggling to hold onto his identity. The story focuses on survival within a hostile and complex system.
Tara Alisha Berry, Akshay Anand, and Mahir Pandhi play important roles in the series. Vimal Khanna will stream for free on Amazon MX Player, Prime Video, Fire TV, and JioTV from May 15, 2026.
