Almost a year ago the movie “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” arrived in theatres, but still it got a pretty late release . Where normally after 8 to 10 weeks, we can stream the movies on OTT.
But, At least it got an ott release, but Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life premiered in theatres on March 28, 2024, is not getting an ott release date. It was supposed to be on Disney + Hotstar on 26 March, but it’s not streaming anywhere.
Based on Benyamin’s 2008 novel, Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life is a 2024 Malayalam survival drama directed by Blessy.
The plot follows a guy named Najeeb, a Malayali labourer who becomes enslaved as a goatherd in Saudi Arabia.
The cast of this movie includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul, with Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan.
The movie was initially banned in Gulf Cooperation Council countries except the UAE.
Later on the ban was lifted from everywhere except Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as it is based on that area of the world.
As it is a survival drama this movie especially shows the dark side of Saudi.
The movie received critical acclaim from the audience and also received an extended theatrical run in Kerala.
It was also said that this movie will include some of the deleted scenes which were trimmed down.
