
The second season of Paatal Lok is one giant of a show and people think of it as better than the first season. But what really worked for the show?
While in the beginning people had shared concerns about how the show would not be able to do much because of the language barriers, now they are praising it for breaking those barriers.

Paatal Lok season 2 deals with Hathiram Choudhury going on investigating a new murder case to north east India. There is a plethora of conversation going on in the local languages. It is nothing new for Prime Video.
The platform has done this with The Family Man season 2 as well where almost half the dialogues were in Tamil.

The show was able to push the storytelling limits and the language barrier did not matter that much. Not just in the Hindi belt, Paatal Lok 2 became very popular in the Telugu and Tamil speaking regions as well.
The way some people teased that no one except the Nagamese and Assamese people would watch the show but it proved them wrong.

What might have appealed to the Telugu speaking people is probably the faithfulness and honesty of the makers and when the third season comes out it will probably be as much popular as this one.
