The project in question is the much in the news, Salute, a biopic on India’s first Space Astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Initially, Aamir Khan agreed to be part of the movie, and it was supposed to take off early next year. However, the actor has decided to stay out of it due to a massive undertaking that he has reportedly started.
With Aamir Khan exiting the project, the role has been taken up by Shah Rukh Khan. The former star who shares a cordial relationship with the latter suggested him to take the biopic. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly didn’t say no. An official confirmation regarding the project is awaited from SRK.
