After the success of Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday is set to reunite with Yash Raj Films for his next big project. This time, the film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is planned as an action romance, blending YRF’s trademark spectacle with fresh talent.
Sources say Ali Abbas Zafar was impressed with Ahaan’s performance in Saiyaara, while Aditya Chopra recommended the young actor, believing his “underexposure” will work in the film’s favour. The project will mark Ali’s fifth outing with YRF, with the script already locked and music work underway. Shooting is expected to begin in early 2026.
Ali has delivered hits like Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai under YRF, but his recent non-YRF ventures such as Bharat and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan disappointed at the box office. Fans hope that working within YRF’s setup will bring back his blockbuster touch.
