Akshay’s 17th Flop: Stop Rushing, Make Better Films

Akshay Kumar Jolly LLB 3 flop

Jolly LLB 3 brought back Arshad Warsi, Akshay Kumar, and Saurabh Shukla in its third part. Fans expected a solid theatrical run, but the response has been far weaker than anyone imagined.

The film was made on a budget of 120 crores and has collected just about 70 crores so far. Numbers are dropping fast, and it looks unlikely to even touch the 100 crore net mark.

Despite tackling an important subject and offering humour without the usual cheap gags, the film has failed to strike a chord. Viewers now believe Jolly LLB 3 is heading toward becoming Akshay Kumar’s 17th flop in a row.

This year alone, he featured in Sky Force, Kesari 2, Housefull 5, and Jolly LLB 3. He also appeared in the Telugu film Kannappa. Soon, Welcome to the Jungle is lined up for release.

Patterns are hard to miss. Most of his recent roles are sequels, adding little freshness. The monotony has weakened his bond with audiences, who feel they’ve seen the same Akshay too many times.

Fans also point to his habit of finishing films quickly. He is known for wrapping shoots in about 45 days and moving on, leaving little space for depth or impact.

With so many releases in a single year, the effort looks stretched thin. Many believe this rush is one major reason behind his failing box office graph and repeated disappointments.

Audiences now want Akshay Kumar to slow down, take fewer projects, and focus on quality. They want to see his true potential again, something missing from his films for a long time.
