In one segment, the guests played a “would you rather” game with tricky questions. During the game, Alia quickly chose the option of falling in love with a friend’s ex, while Kajol joined her. Twinkle and Varun Dhawan chose the opposite side.
Viewers connected Alia’s response to her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, who had previously dated Katrina Kaif. Many online users accused her of betraying her friend Katrina by openly accepting such an option on the show.
Trollers also revived old rumours suggesting Ranbir may have cheated on Katrina with Alia, though no confirmation has ever surfaced. Regardless, fans criticised Alia’s choice as insensitive and pointed to her “yes” as shameless acceptance.
