Anees Bazmee is set to bring back laughter with No Entry 2, starring Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the director is preparing this comedy, which is reportedly planned for release on Christmas 2026, according to Rahul Raut of Peeping Moon.
The makers are still finalising the third male lead after Diljit Dosanjh’s exit. Discussions with some actors have taken place, but their names have not been disclosed yet.
Interestingly, all the male leads will be seen in double roles. The female cast has not been confirmed either, leaving fans curious to see if the sequel can match the 2005 hit No Entry.
Social media is buzzing with mixed reactions. Some netizens feel sequels rarely succeed unless they surpass the original. Many also argue that the film may not work without the original trio.
The first No Entry featured Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, and Anil Kapoor, whose chemistry was loved by audiences. Fans are now expressing disappointment over the recasting of the lead roles in the upcoming sequel.
Comedy films usually perform well during festive releases, and Anees Bazmee has delivered several hits in the past. However, the success of No Entry 2 will depend heavily on word-of-mouth, promotions, and its music.
The film needs a strong comeback like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which succeeded despite Akshay Kumar’s absence. With Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor leading, the big question is whether audiences will show up at theatres.
