The promotional campaign for Cocktail 2 is set to begin on May 17, but the film is currently facing low buzz. Early reactions suggest weak audience interest, mainly due to underwhelming music and a lack of strong engagement across social media platforms.

The makers had attached the first song, Jab Talak, to the theatrical prints of Dhurandhar 2 to build momentum. However, the track failed to create excitement online. Many viewers called it a routine party number, leading the team to reportedly rethink the album strategy.

Romantic comedies have always been unpredictable at the box office. Films like Saiyaara worked due to fresh casting and appealing music, but such success cannot be repeated easily. The original Cocktail gained popularity mainly because of its music during the pre OTT era.

At present, Cocktail 2 does not offer a strong unique selling point to attract theatre audiences. Kriti Sanon’s glamorous look has become the main talking point online. However, visual appeal alone may not be enough to ensure box office success.
