The controversy erupted when Sky Force reignited the debate on corporate bookings, with multiple trade analysts calling out the industry’s manipulation tactics.

Himesh Mankad went as far as calling this practice a “virus” infecting every film release in 2025, leaving audiences wondering if any reported box office figures are even real. Joginder Tuteja echoed similar concerns, calling the situation “out of control” and predicting that this trend might soon collapse under its own weight.

Amid this mess, Kamaal R Khan has put Chhaava under scrutiny, warning filmmakers that he will be keeping an eye on its bookings.

Chhaava has already reported massive pre-booking numbers, selling 25,000 tickets within days, with a suspicious 5,500 tickets being sold per hour on Sunday. The figures seem eerily similar to past cases of alleged corporate bookings.

Many users on social media have directly accused Maddock Films of using the same tactics they allegedly deployed for Munjya and Stree 2. While there is no concrete proof yet, the rising suspicion over Bollywood’s rigged box office game is impossible to ignore.

If these allegations hold true, Chhaava might just be the next name in Bollywood’s growing list of artificially inflated “blockbusters.”
