Nowadays, no film is hitting screens without tasting the flavor of controversy. Even the stories are such that they are irking some, or the other social or individual elements. Here is a comedy-drama film that took the subject of a sex clinic which ended up with a legal notice filed by a sex therapist.
Starring Sonakshi Sinha, Khandaani Shafakhana is getting ready to hit the screens on August 2nd and to go with the trailer, the story runs around a sex clinic named Khandaani Shafakhana where Sonakshi plays a sexologist. Well, if you think the controversy is because of the ‘sex’ subject, no, that is not the issue.
Dr. Abott, a sexologist and the son of late Dr Hakim Hari Kishan Lal, who was also a famous sexologist appealed to the court to issue a stay order on the film and also to the censor board not to issue the certificate claiming that the makers have illegally used the trademark ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ created by his father.
The therapist slammed the makers with the court notice for the unauthorized copy of his father’s hospital’s name which is pretty famous in the North. Apart from that, the trailer looked appealing for a girl trying to make people speak of their sex issues openly.
