‘Arjun Reddy‘ will turn out to be a potential remake if done properly in not only South Indian languages but also Hindi. Bollywood young and energetic hero Ranveer Singh’s name has been making rounds for the titular role in the Hindi remake.

Well, there seems to be a change in the plans for the remake. Instead of Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor might essay the role of the protagonist in the movie. Ranveer Singh is allegedly out of the remake for the reason that he had recently essayed a truly intense role in Bollywood period drama ‘Padmavati’.
There had been reports that the young hero had to even approach a psychiatrist to come out of the negativity that surrounded the character which he had to own while playing the role. ‘Arjun Reddy’ will also be as intense as Allauddin Khilji role in ‘Padmavati’ and that could be the reason why the actor might have walked out of the remake.
