As Karan Johar announced the arrival of Kesari Chapter 2, fans were excited to witness the hidden truth of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre which shook the nation.
The film’s first teaser received positive reviews from the viewers and given the stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, the film looks good on paper and is scheduled to release on April 18, 2025.

On the other, it will be facing off with Sanjay Dutt’s horror-comedy The Bhootnii. The film features Sunny Singh and Mouni Roy along with the main man Sanjay Dutt.
It promises to offer a blend of horror, comedy, and romance in a never-before-seen way as announced by the makers. As both the films are about to have a face-off at the box office, the winner looks clear even before the battle could start.

With the official poster of The Bhootnii released by the makers, it showcases Sanjay Dutt as a Priest who looks to vanquish ghosts with the tagline ‘Bhoot Pret Jinn Pishach, Baba Lagaye Sabki Waat’.
By the looks of it, the poster looks like a cheap copy of Stree 2 which will be showcasing mediocre horror scenes with a blend of comedy and romance. b

On the other hand, a poster of Kesari 2 was seen outside a theatre stand but the makers have not officially released it yet.
The standout poster showcases Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, Ananya Panday, and a British flag in the background depicting the amount of violence and injustice they created during the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.
As both the films are slated for April 18th release, only time will tell how both the films turn out to be and which film will have an edge over the other.
