Bollywood and television actress Khushi Mukherjee has clarified her recent comments involving Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav. Her remarks gained attention after statements made on 30 December 2025 sparked speculation about a possible personal connection between the two.
On that day, Khushi stated that she does not want to date any cricketer. She mentioned receiving attention from several cricketers and claimed Suryakumar yadav used to message her earlier. She also said she disliked news linking her name to him.
A day later, on 31 December 2025, Khushi addressed the issue again in an interview. She questioned whether friends cannot speak casually. She clarified there was no romantic relationship and said her Instagram account had been hacked.
Khushi added that while she and Suryakumar once spoke as friends, they are no longer in contact. She stressed that her comments were misunderstood and reiterated her wish to stay away from dating rumours involving cricketers.
She also wished Suryakumar Yadav and Team India well for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The statement was positioned as a goodwill gesture rather than an attempt to extend the discussion further.
Suryakumar Yadav, who captained India to the 2025 Asia Cup title, has not issued any public response. The timing of the controversy coincided with his visit to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati with his wife Devisha.
Khushi Mukherjee is known for appearances in MTV Splitsvilla, Baalveer Returns, and MTV Love School. She has also worked in Tamil and Telugu films. She reaffirmed that she has no interest in dating any cricketer.
