As Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 75 on 17th September, Silver Cast Creations announced Maa Vande, a biographical film depicting the Prime Minister’s life journey.

The film follows Modi’s path from childhood to becoming India’s leader, highlighting his close bond with his late mother Heeraben Modi. She is described as the most important source of inspiration in his personal and political life.

Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has been chosen to play the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Kranthi Kumar C.H. will write and direct the project, while Veer Reddy M. will produce it under the Silver Cast Creations banner.

The technical crew includes cinematographer K.K. Senthil Kumar, music composer Ravi Basrur, editor Sreekar Prasad, and production designer Sabu Cyril. Action sequences will be handled by King Solomon.

The makers are planning a wide pan India release with versions in multiple languages, including English, aiming to give audiences an emotional and memorable cinematic experience.

The announcement created a buzz online. Modi’s supporters welcomed the news with excitement, calling it a tribute to their leader.

Critics, however, viewed it with scepticism. They believe the film might serve as propaganda to present Narendra Modi in a heroic light and shape public opinion in his favour.

Some even speculated about political motives and its possible impact on the opposition during an already tense climate.

For many Indians, Narendra Modi remains a leader and visionary, and they celebrate him as their hero.

Whether Maa Vande is a heartfelt tribute or a strategic propaganda tool, the real answer may never be fully known.
