Tanushree Dutta had fired an FIR against Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya and several others on 10 October, 2018 for a sexual harrasment incident that took place in 2008. Recently, the Magistrate court has cleared the names of all accused for a lack of evidence and delay in reporting without condonation.
The lawyer of the defense side conveyed that this was just an attack on the veteran stars of Bollywood to gain popularity. Tanushree was exploiting an important cause like the #Metoo movement to revive her fame.

The sets were she claimed the entire incident took place had more than 100 people but not any significant witness came forward to confirm her allegations. Her media outbursts also caused a lot of damage to the reputation of these actors.
Tanushree was a yesteryear actress who gradually lost her fame. She is known for working with Balakrishna in Veerabhadra where she played the second romantic lead.
