Param Sundari Day 2 BO: Good Jump but is It Enough?

Param Sundari box office day 2

Param Sundari, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, saw a good rise in numbers on its second day at the box office. The romantic comedy directed by Tushar Jalota is finally gaining momentum after a slow start on opening day.

The film witnessed a 45% jump in sales on Saturday, August 30, showing that the “Pardesiya fever” is beginning to click with audiences across India. Around 43,500 tickets were sold on BookMyShow by 2 PM, compared to 30,000 on Day 1.

By the afternoon, the film had already reached 37% of its first-day sales, and the momentum was expected to grow stronger with evening and night shows. The sharp increase in occupancy hinted at rising audience interest.

Morning occupancy stood at 9.6%, but by afternoon it had nearly doubled with an 87% rise. This boost is seen as a strong indicator ahead of Sunday, which is likely to be the most crucial day for the film’s weekend run.

By 2 PM, Param Sundari had collected close to ₹4 crore on Day 2. Estimates suggest second-day earnings could reach around ₹11 crore, compared to the ₹7.37 crore on Day 1. If Day 3 touches ₹15 crore, the film could be tagged a success early on.

With positive word of mouth and the chemistry between Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor working well, Param Sundari looks set to continue its steady march at the box office, making the weekend performance key to its long-term prospects.
