Paresh Rawal has confirmed that Welcome to the Jungle 3 is set to release in 2026. Fans have been waiting eagerly for updates on the Welcome franchise, which was announced more than a year ago. His recent statement has finally given them some clarity.
In an interview, Paresh Rawal said the film will be different and is expected to hit theatres by March or April next year. He also revealed that shooting will likely resume in November or December 2025, giving fans hope that the project is back on track.
Earlier, reports claimed that the film had been shelved due to financial issues. Director Ahmed Khan did not comment and suggested that only producer Firoz Nadiadwala could address those concerns.
Paresh Rawal’s latest remarks suggest that the film is being revived sooner than expected. Still, some people doubt its success, especially given the long delay and changes in the cast.
Many fans had already expressed disappointment over the replacements of Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. The criticism continues to affect the film’s buzz ahead of its release.
Ahmed Khan, known mostly for Baaghi 2, has never directed a comedy on such a big scale. With most of his other films failing at the box office, questions remain about whether he can match or surpass the success of the first two Welcome instalments.
For now, audiences will have to wait for the trailer and other promotional content before deciding whether to book tickets or skip the film altogether.
