Pati Patni Aur Woh Do: Fake and Paid Reviews Stand Exposed?

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do review

The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has finally hit theaters today, but audiences do not seem very excited. Early box office tracking already suggests a weak opening for the film.

A lot of highly positive reviews flooded the internet right before the release, but audiences are already calling them out. Most of those early reviews cannot be trusted because they look more like paid promotions than genuine opinions.

Now that real viewers and authentic portals are sharing their thoughts, the actual reception looks mixed to negative. According to most reviewers, the film relies on outdated jokes and a formulaic plot, with many situations lifted directly from director Mudassar Aziz’s past movies. Critics have also slammed the female leads for the fake dialects they tried to pull off. Others point out that the movie loses its grip very early on, as the plot feels stretched and the constant misunderstandings become annoying instead of funny.

The music has also failed to strike a chord with audience. None of the tracks managed to become chartbusters, which is a big reason why the buzz around the film stayed so cold. A hit album is usually a necessary ingredient for a Bollywood comedy, and that is completely missing here.

Trade experts predict that the film will struggle to do good business at the box office because of this poor word of mouth. Mudassar Aziz seems to be making the same type of cinema over and over again. It is high time he tries something fresh if he wants to keep getting work in the industry.
