The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 is already entering the same leagues as Jawaan, Animal, and Stree 2 with its advance bookings. There is no doubt that it is going to be one of the biggest releases of the year, but can it break all-time records?
According to trade experts, the film is showing a promising start in the North, with the Allu Arjun starrer already beating Animal in the fastest to sell 1000 tickets in MovieMax. It is now aiming to sell a total of 20,000 tickets which will put it in competition with Stree 2 (21,780 tickets), Animal (18,600 tickets) tickets, and Jawan (17,500 tickets).

The pricing of Pushpa 2 is at an all-time high which will boost the box office numbers. Early trends at national multiplex chains like PVRInox and Cinepolis also hint at a major success, with the former selling 12,500 tickets within the first 3 hours of tickets going live.
The experts believe that the Sukumar directorial has guaranteed itself a ₹50 crore plus opening in just hours. However, if this much-anticipated sequel needs to beat Jawan’s opening day collection of ₹65 crores it needs to pick up pace.

Pushpa 2 has the potential to be the standalone king of the box office. While it might have already beaten Stree 2, the biggest blockbuster of the year, an all-time record remains in the balance.
