The buzz around Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is on the rise these days. Namit Malhotra, the CEO of the visual effects company DNEG is going to produce a two part film that puts the grand Indian epic in a VFX studded spectacle for the fans.
The main lead includes Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Lord Ram and Mata Sita. Amongst the speculated star cast Sunny Deol will play Hanuman, Ravana will be played by Yash, and stars like Krunal Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh are expected to play some major roles.

The WAVES Summit is a big convention of Bollywood held to expand the scope of visual effects and sound in the industry. It will be inaugurated by PM Modi and fans feel that a big announcement about Ramayana will be made here.
The event takes place from 1-4 May and has international appeal with the attendance of big film stars and filmmakers. Fans are speculating all over social media that this is the best time for a first look or poster release and makers can utilise it to create a much needed hype.
