Reports of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Kareena Kapoor’s collaboration emerged at the beginning of August 2026. Insiders claimed that the movie was supposed to star Dhanush in an important role.
The potential project has finally received an official update. PS Mithran, the director of Sardar 2, has recently claimed that the movie is being made at Bhansali Productions. PS Mithran stated that discussions are going on and dates are being looked at, possibly to take the project on the floors.
The initial report stated that the movie will be set in a jungle and the story is going to have a link to mythology. PS Mithran is reported to direct the film and is being written, with pre-production expected to start in January 2027.
