As per reports, a sequel for the much loved 2006 comedy ‘Bhagam Bhag’ is in the works now.
But actor Govinda, who had a prominent role in the movie, has said that he has not been approached for the movie. ‘Bhagam Bhag’ starred Govinda, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in leading roles and had also actors like Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, Lara Dutta etc in other important roles.

The chemistry that the actors had in the movie was awesome and cannot be recreated with other actors. If Govinda is not coming back for the movie it will be a shame and fans might not like it that much.
Filmmaker Sarita Ashwin Varde who has acquired the rights to the franchise has said, “A special film like Bhagam Bhag deserves a sequel that’s just as special. When the time was right, we decided to take the plunge.”

Govinda, meanwhile, has said, “No one approached me for Bhagam Bhag 2 or sat down for a discussion. There are stories of me doing not just Bhagam Bhag 2, but many other sequels, including Partner.”
Not many people will go to watch sequels for movies like Bhagam Bhag and Partner without Govinda in them. And the producers need to rethink their casting decisions now
