Sikandar’s advance booking has started on March 25, 2025, and the occupancy has not been up to the mark as per expectations. Considering the response received by the teaser and the trailer, the shows should have been housefull in a short period.
However, there has been very little occupancy, specifically in the morning shows. For now, it seems like Sikandar has to cross multiple obstacles to touch the mark of Rs. 500 crores, which looks impossible for now.

The ongoing situation has hinted that the film might accumulate somewhere between Rs. 300 and Rs. 350 crores in case the film gets a positive response from the audience on the first day. If the response is average, the film might touch a mark of Rs. 200 crores or less.
In case people are not fully satisfied, the film will end its theatrical run at Rs. 150 crores. The situation might take a different turn with a final collection of only Rs. 100 crores.

All these factors have now proved that only Chhaava or War 2 would emerge as the highest-grossing Hindi film of this year. The former managed to break the records made by Stree 2 and Jawan, and War 2 is the only film that can make better collections since it already has enough buzz due to its association with the YRF Spy Universe.
War 2 is expected to open better than Chhaava since Hrithik Roshan is a bigger superstar than Vicky Kaushal. Moreover, the film also features Jr. NTR making his Bollywood debut as the antagonist.

For now, War 2 is the only film that can give heavy competition to Chhaava since others don’t have the potential to record a huge opening or total box office collection.
