Salman Khan’s much-awaited comeback movie Sikandar generated quite some buzz when it was announced as fans thought the film might break the streak of flops for the renowned actor.
However, as it seems, the film might not be the kind of spectacle everyone was expecting as the promotional campaigns and efforts put by the filmmakers have been underwhelming and disappointing so far.

When the makers announced the film’s teaser, expectations were set high for a pinch of action and romance in the teaser showcasing Salman Khan as the ultimate needle mover in the film.
However, the teaser looked more like an announcement video and just introduced the release date of the film showcasing Salman Khan in a forgettable appearance. When everyone was expecting the poster of the film to be thrilling and power-packed, it turned out to be a picture from the announcement video released earlier.

While fans were trying to give Salman Khan’s upcoming film some attention with its early announcements, many have already given up on the film given the promotional strategy and lazy ideas put on the table by the makers to hype the film.
Having a world-renowned star like Salman Khan in the film could have generated a lot of hype given that he has been on a losing streak at the box office and makers should have capitalized on that but as things stand, Sikandar is losing its grip over the fans with its disappointing reveals.

Director AR Murugadoss has provided some good films like Ghajini in the past but he is also way past his prime. On the other hand, it seems that Nadiadwala Grandson’s production banner is taking the project lightly.
The production banner has been lazy in promoting the film and has failed to hype the audience for the film’s ultimate release. While the fans are feeling cheated, the only last hope they have is from Salman Khan.
It will be Salman Khan’s performance at the end which might save the film as the film has failed to generate good hype among the fans. Flooded with anger and disappointment, it remains to be seen how fans will react to the upcoming reveals from the film.
